Cabins

At Gordon’s Park we have a couple of different Cabins available year round.  Our Camping Cabins offer a nice alternative to camping and our large, secluded, Stargazing Cabin offers some of the darkest skies in Ontario in our RASC designated Dark Sky Preserve.

The largest of our CabinsSTARGAZING CABIN

This rustic wilderness cabin is located in the interior of our park in our dark sky preserve. It sleeps 4-5 persons and features a double bed, one set of bunk beds, one single bed and a full size couch with matching swivel rocking chair. It is fully insulated which keeps it cozy and warm in the winter and comfy and cool in the summer. The full size stove and camp lights all run on propane. The cabin is heated with an airtight wood stove with a glass door creating a warm glowing ambiance. EcoShowers, a Comfort Station, our Summer Kitchen & dish-washing station are available in main campground. There is a large private privy on site which is kept spotless and clean. Water is transported in five gallon jugs and can be obtained at the office. Please bring your own cooler, towels (dish and bath), pillows and sleeping bags. All pots, pans and dishes are supplied. Please no smoking & no pets.

DARK SKY PRESERVE CAMPING CABIN

Gordon’s Park has a camping cabin set up in the Dark Sky Preserve.  This cabin has 2 single beds which is perfect for 2 people that enjoy the night skies and would like to be a little more secluded by being in the interior of the park.

Our camping cabins are sleep cabins that are set up on their own private wooded campsite with a picnic table and campfire pit. They have room for four with one double bed & one bunk bed and are clean, cozy & comfortable.

Guests of Gordon’s Park are welcome to use our summer kitchen, equipped with a barbeque, 3 burner propane stove, pots, utensils, coffee maker and toaster to make your stay more enjoyable and a little more like home.

For guests booking a stay for the months of September, October, May and June, when you book a reservation you will be given a code for the Chi-cheemaun ferry that will save you 10% off your crossing fare AND save $5.00 off your stay at Gordon’s Park!

Overnight Guests of Gordon's Park get complimentary passes to the nature interpretive centre and educational hiking trails and pay only once to enjoy unlimited use of the solar heated swimming pool and the 18 hole mini putt.
