At Gordon’s Park we have a couple of different cabins available May to December. Our camping cabins offer a comfortable alternative to tenting, and our large, secluded, Stargazing Cabin, located in our RASC designated Dark Sky Preserve, boasts access to some of the darkest skies in Ontario.
This rustic wilderness cabin is located in the interior of our park in our Dark Sky Preserve. It sleeps 4-5 persons and features a double bed, one set of bunk beds, one single bed, and a full size couch with matching swivel rocking chair. It is fully insulated which regulates the temperature and keeps you comfortable in all weather conditions. There is a full size stove and camp lights which all run on propane, and the cabin is heated with an airtight wood stove with a glass door which creates a warm glowing ambiance. Ecoshowers, a comfort station, our summer kitchen, and dish-washing station are available for use in main campground. There is a large private privy on site which is kept spotless. Water is transported from the main campground in five gallon jugs and can be filled at the office. Please bring your own cooler, towels (dish and bath), pillows and sleeping bags. All pots, pans and dishes are supplied. Please no smoking & no pets.
